Improving Joyful Lives: Society’s Response to Difference and Disability

In 2014 I was asked to prepare a monograph on the status of those living with Down syndrome. As of that date, there was no single resource that presented the challenges these people face both, medically and socially, nor the development of resources that gave them hope for the future. The result was this paper.
